Alamo Hills Advanced Aesthetics and Laser Center came to fruition in 2008. Thanks to Dr. Nawabi’s driving force and dedication to staying current with the needs and demands of the local community of Simi Valley and surrounding cities. Dr. Nawabi has listened to his patients, friends and community members in regards to the necessity for a reputable and efficacious medical aesthetics practice.
In Dr. Nawabi’s continual pursuit of excellent patient care that surpasses patient expectations, Dr. Nawabi has received extensive training on advanced Cutera Laser applications, as well as the fine art of injecting Botox and Juvederm fillers. Dr. Nawabi works side by side with the aesthetic service providers, in addition to the Medical Group physicians to provide the medical and personal care needs of his patients. Dr. Nawabi has been caring for patients and living in Simi Valley since 1993. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He completed his residency training at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio after earning his M.B.B.S. and M.D. degrees from Indira Gandhi Medical College in India in 1986.
In conjunction with Dr. Nawabi’s passion and desire to provide the ultimate in patient health and personal care, he is equally dedicated to his family and interests. Dr. Nawabi is married with two sons and one daughter. He enjoys family time, entertaining and going to the Laker games. Dr. Nawabi also speaks four languages, including Persian, English, Hindi, and Urdu.

Fatema Nawabi is the office CEO and director for Alamo Hills Advanced Aesthetics & Laser Center since July of 2010. Fatema has been involved with planning and development of Alamo Hills Advanced Aesthetics & Laser Center from the beginning alongside Dr. Nawabi, her husband. Fatema is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the office, including financial management, staff management, and customer service where she strives in making sure all clients are taken care of.
Fatema tracks trends in a constantly changing industry and keeps the business on the cutting edge from offering the most advanced skincare products and services to hiring the most skilled and best staff. Her incredible organization skills keep our team running smoothly.
Fatema’s vast health care experience in dentistry and patient care has given her the capability to create an atmosphere where staff and patients feel comfortable to ask questions.
She is enthusiastic and prepared to help clients in their aesthetic needs. Though she maintains an administrative role, Fatema enjoys direct contact and interaction with clients to help each client toward a satisfying, comfortable, and realistic aesthetic outcome. We are very fortunate to have Fatema as she strives to offer the best service to our clients. Fatema and Dr. Nawabi have been happily married since 1994 and have three beautiful children. On her spare time, Fatema enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

Teresa Cardenas, RN

Teresa Cardenas, RN has been with Alamo Hills Advanced Aesthetics & Laser Center since May 2012. Having received her nursing degree at Los Angeles Harbor College with top honors as valedictorian, she has focused her career in the aesthetic industry for over a decade. Prior to joining our staff, she worked in dermatology and plastic surgery where she refined her knowledge of skin care conditions and therapies.
Teresa is extensively experienced in cosmetic procedures including injections of many dermal fillers, Botox Cosmetic, medical grade chemical peels, and medications to remove spider veins (“sclerotherapy”). She also has expertise in advanced laser treatment for wrinkles, skin rejuvenation and scarring with CO2 Fractional Resurfacing, laser hair removal, and laser vein removal.
Since joining Alamo Hills Advanced Aesthetics & Laser, Teresa focuses her knowledge and experience in every consultation and treatment.
She remains on the forefront of injection therapies and skillfully integrates laser therapies within a comprehensive plan of rejuvenation. Teresa has worked alongside plastic surgeons & dermatologists and has acquired knowledge and expertise about how injectable and lasers can achieve patient goals without resorting to invasive surgical procedures.

Jocelyn Rosenthal, RN

Jocelyne Rosenthal has had a career in the field of Plastic Surgery for over 20 years as an aesthetic surgical nurse. The past 10 years have been devoted to her specialty in Aesthetic Skincare as a Medical Aesthetic Clinical Injector. During the course of these 10 years, Jocelyne has worked for Allergan® Corporation as a Clinical Instructor teaching various injection techniques to physicians and nurses. Her expertise is also in demand as a private consultant for medical groups.
Because of her association with Allergan®, she has participated in Clinical Studies and is at the forefront of her field with first-hand knowledge and exposure to new products. She has performed countless injections using Botox®, Juvederm®, Juvederm Voluma, Radiesse, Belotero Balance, and other dermal fillers. Jocelyne has been with Alamo Hills Advanced Aesthetics & Laser Center since 2008.

Drawing on her background in make-up artistry, she integrates principles of light & shadow to enhance her clients’ natural beauty. Beyond her expertise in aesthetics, Michal is deeply invested in health & wellness.
