WHAT IS BOTOX® COSMETIC?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is the only approved treatment to temporarily improve the appearance of both moderate to severe frown lines between the brows and crow’s feet lines in adults.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is one of the most extensively studied medical aesthetic treatments and is approved for cosmetic use in 78 countries.* BOTOX® Cosmetic has a record of experience that aesthetic specialists know and trust. And, the safety and efficacy of BOTOX® Cosmetic have been evaluated in both Allergan sponsored clinical trials as well as in 417 peer-reviewed articles in scientific and medical journals.
BOTOX® Cosmetic contains tiny amounts of a highly purified botulinum toxin protein refined from the bacterium, Clostridium botulinum. Formulations, potency, and approved doses vary among botulinum toxin products, which means that one product cannot take the place of another. Those are a few reasons why there is no such thing as a “generic” form of BOTOX® Cosmetic. There have been no studies to support that other products are Unit-to-Unit equivalent to BOTOX® Cosmetic.
HOW DOES BOTOX® COSMETIC WORK?
BOTOX® Cosmetic targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines and crow’s feet—the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years. Your specialist will inject these muscles with BOTOX® Cosmetic to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will begin to notice a visible smoothing of your crow’s feet lines and frown lines between your brows.
WILL BOTOX® COSMETIC MAKE ME LOOK LIKE I’VE HAD WORK DONE?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a technique-sensitive treatment. You should not lose the ability to show expression when you are treated by someone who is licensed, trained, and a medical expert in facial anatomy. It is important to talk to your specialist about the results you want from treatment.
DOES BOTOX® COSMETIC TREATMENT HURT?
Some patients report that being injected with BOTOX® Cosmetic feels like a pinch. Your specialist may use ice to numb the treatment area. If you are concerned about discomfort, your specialist may apply a topical numbing cream before administering your treatment.
HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?
Your specialist will discuss your treatment goals and perform a facial analysis to determine the appropriate treatments for you. The actual injection process takes about 10 minutes.
HOW CAN I SAVE ON TREATMENTS?
Enroll in the Brilliant Distinctions® Rewards Program to save money on BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments. You earn points on each BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment that you can redeem for savings on future treatments. You can also earn and redeem points on other selected treatments that your specialist may determine are right for you.
In addition, you can also earn points when you shop online at your favorite retailers participating in the Brilliant Distinctions® Mall. As a member you will receive treatment reminders and information about your points balance.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
You may begin to notice results within 24 to 48 hours for moderate to severe frown lines, with results lasting up to 4 months.
HOW LONG IS THE RECOVERY TIME AFTER TREATMENT?
After your treatment, you can resume your day. There is minimal downtime and your specialist may give you specific aftercare instructions.

WHAT IS XEOMIN®?
XEOMIN® (incobotulinumtoxinA) is a prescription medication injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults.
XEOMIN® contains botulinum toxin type A, a protein purified from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum.
HOW DOES XEOMIN® WORK?
When you squint or frown, the muscles between your eyebrows contract, causing the skin to furrow and fold. Over time, as your skin ages and loses some of its elasticity, these repeated contractions can cause persistent frown lines.
Botulinum toxin type A – the active ingredient in XEOMIN®– acts on nerve endings in muscles to prevent muscle fibers from contracting. By reducing these contractions, XEOMIN® can temporarily reduce the lines between your eyebrows.
IS XEOMIN® PROVEN?
XEOMIN® was proven effective in two randomized, double-blind, multicenter, placebo-controlled clinical trials of 547 healthy, adult patients. The average age of patients in the study was 46 years. Patients received 20 Units of XEOMIN® and were classified as responders if they had a 2-grade improvement on a 4-point scale as assessed by the physician and patient. Using these criteria, treatment success was higher with XEOMIN® than placebo on Day 30 in both studies (60% and 48% vs. 0% for placebo in both studies).
Based on these trials, XEOMIN® received FDA approval for use in glabellar lines in 2011.
WHAT SHOULD I TELL MY DOCTOR BEFORE TREATMENT?
Before receiving treatment with XEOMIN®, you should tell your doctor about all of your medical conditions, including whether you have a disease that affects your muscles and nerves, have allergies to any botulinum toxin product, or have experienced any side effect from any other botulinum toxin in the past. In addition, tell your doctor about your medical history and all the medicines you take, including prescription and nonprescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
Especially tell your doctor if you have received any other botulinum toxin product in the last four months or in the past. Be sure your doctor knows exactly which product(s) you received and when you received them.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS?
You may begin to see visible smoothing as early as 3-4 days after injection. The median first onset of effect was less than a week. The maximum effect occurred at 30 days. The typical duration of effect was up to 3 months in clinical trials but may last significantly longer or shorter in individual patients.

WHAT IS DYSPORT?
Move toward a natural look.
Wrinkles aren’t your style and the “frozen look” isn’t either. For adults who want a natural look, there’s Dysport, a prescription injection proven to help smooth the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows without changing the look or movement of the rest of your face. Untreated muscles still work normally, so you can continue to express feelings naturally. It’s the lines that disappear, not your expressions.
And because Dysport delivers the natural-looking results people want, 97% of users say they’d do it again.1 Additionally, Dysport is approved in 57 countries2 and has 25 years of clinical experience worldwide.3* Find out more about Dysport below, including how it works and what you need to know before starting treatment.
*Includes therapeutic and aesthetic uses
HOW DOES DYSPORT WORK?
Dysport treats moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows by reducing specific muscle activity. Wrinkles are caused by repeated movements and muscle contractions, which means they can even develop in younger adults. One injection into each of 5 points between and above the eyebrows temporarily prevents muscle contractions that cause frown lines, leaving the rest of your face to move naturally. In other words, no frozen look, just natural-looking results. You can control your look instead of your look controlling you.
HOW LONG DOES DYSPORT LAST?
You’ve got better things to do than think about what your frown lines look like. In just one 10- to 20-minute treatment, Dysport may help improve the look of your frown lines between the eyebrows for up to 4 months.† The majority of patients see improvement in just 2–3 days after treatment.4-6** Results of repeat treatments may be comparable to your first use. Another plus? There is minimal downtime after your treatment, which means you can get back to your day faster.

RADIESSE® and RADIESSE® (+) IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT RADIESSE® AND RADIESSE® (+)?
One of the risks with using these products is unintentional injection into a blood vessel. The chances of this happening are very small, but if it does happen, the complications can be serious, and may be permanent. These complications, which have been reported for facial injections, can include vision abnormalities, blindness, stroke, temporary scabs, or permanent scarring of the skin. If you have changes in your vision, signs of a stroke (including sudden difficulty speaking, numbness or weakness in your face, arms, or legs, difficulty walking, face drooping, severe headache, dizziness, or confusion), white appearance of the skin, or unusual pain during or shortly after treatment, you should notify your health care practitioner immediately. As with all procedures that involve an injection through the skin, there is a risk of infection.
Do not use RADIESSE® or RADIESSE® (+) if you have a skin infection until it has healed.
It is not known if RADIESSE® or RADIESSE® (+) is safe or effective in the lips, or in the area around the eyes.
The microspheres in RADIESSE® and RADIESSE® (+) can be seen in X-rays and CT Scans. It is very important that you tell your health care provider that you have had RADIESSE® or RADIESSE® (+) dermal filler.
If you have a history of herpes, you may experience a herpes breakout after receiving RADIESSE® or RADIESSE® (+).
Injection in the back of the hand may result in temporary difficulty performing activities. RADIESSE® may cause nodules, bumps or lumps in the back of the hand and can last up to 1 year.
You should minimize strenuous activity and avoid extensive sun or heat exposure for about 24 hours after treatment and until any swelling or redness has resolved.
WHAT SHOULD I TELL MY DOCTOR BEFORE USING RADIESSE® OR RADIESSE® (+)?
Tell your health care provider if you are taking blood thinners or medicines that can interfere with the clotting of blood, such as aspirin or warfarin. These medicines might make it more likely that you will experience bruising or bleeding at the injection site. Tell your health care provider if you have any diseases, injuries or disabilities of the hand, if you have a history forming large, raised scars or if you have had any other skin treatments such as skin peels.

TATTOOS HAVE MET THEIR MATCH!
PicoClear by Alma Lasers quickly, safely and effectively erases unwanted ink.
WITH THE POWER OF MULTIPLE WAVELENGTHS, PICOCLEAR TREATS A WIDE ARRAY OF INK COLORS.
Did you know…Ink colors have differences in light absorption, which means multiple wavelengths are crucial to effectively treat a colorful tattoo.
INK PARTICLE SIZES
Laser tattoo removal works, in part, by targeting ink particles and breaking them up into smaller pieces that can be absorbed and flushed by the body. We have found that pulse duration can play a significant role in achieving superior clearance of tattoo inks. While traditional nanosecond lasers work very well, the total number of treatments needed to achieve the desired results can be overwhelming to the patient. With the introduction of picosecond technology, practitioners are able to offer excellent results in fewer treatments. The ultra short picosecond pulse creates a photoacoustic effect that can shatter ink into the tiniest particles, allowing for faster tattoo clearance.
The art of placing a tattoo is an imperfect science. Ink is distributed to multiple layers of skin. This is another reason that multiple treatment sessions are needed to effectively eliminate a tattoo. It is important to choose a laser tattoo removal system, like PicoClear by Alma Lasers, that allows practitioners to precisely control the energy (fluence) and spot size to achieve the desired results
WHAT IS PICOCLEAR?
PicoClear is a cosmetic laser that is FDA-cleared for tattoo removal. as well as skin resurfacing, It is the most advanced technology availabe for tattoo removal.
PicoClear by Alma Lasers utilizes two different pulses: nanosecond and picosecond. Traditional tattoo and skin rejuvenation lasers utilize nanosecond pulses and work very well. However, many tattoos cannot be completely cleared with nanosecond pulses alone. “Pico” stands for picosecond pulses. These extremely short pulses that can shatter ink and pigmentation into tiny particles, providing more effective clearance.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
There are many variables to consider when developing a treatment plan for laser tattoo removal. The age of the tattoo and location of the body play a part, as well as which ink colors were used. Best results are seen after a series of treatments and your practitioner will provide you with expected results.
HOW LONG DOES A TREATMENT TAKE?
A small tattoo can be treated in a matter of minutes.
WILL THE TATTOO DISAPPEAR COMPLETELY?
In many cases, yes. However, some ink colors are more difficult to eliminate than others. Your practitioner will be able to talk with you about your goal and expected results during your consultation. PicoClear is able to treat all tattoo colors.
WHAT IF I ONLY WANT PART OF A TATTOO REMOVED?
With PicoClear we are able to precisely treat even the smallest area without affecting the surrounding skin.
DOES LASER TATTOO REMOVAL HURT?
Laser tattoo removal is not pain free. Most patients say that the laser feels like a rubber band snapping against the skin. Topical anesthetic may be available to minimize discomfort.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
Many patients experience redness and swelling immediately following the treatment. These side effects are temporary.
IS THERE ANY DOWN TIME?
Patients can return to regular activities immediately following the treatment. However, exposure to the sun should be limited until the treated area has completely healed.
QUICK TREATMENTS AND FAST RESULTS.
PicoClear combines an ultrafast picosecond pulse with high energy to effectively shatter ink particles.
This gives patients faster results in fewer treatments.
MiXto CO2 SKIN RESURFACING LASER
WHAT IS MiXto SX® MICRO FRACTIONAL CO₂?
CO₂ is a Carbon Dioxide laser that has been used for more than 25 years in the aesthetic industry for treatment of conditions such as fine and deep wrinkles, scars of various origin, uneven pigmentation and dilated pores. When the CO₂ beam of light comes in contact with the epidermis it heats and vaporizes the skin tissue, instantly removing the superficial layers of the skin, scars and wrinkles while smoothing out the surface of the skin. The skin remodeling occurs with new skin and collagen growth. MiXto stands for the mixture between CO₂ energy and fractional resurfacing, and the SX stands for surgical, because the laser can also be used to make a very clean incision without bleeding.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The MiXto SX® gives the Physician more control to regulate the depth of penetration and the amount of heat delivered by the beam. The high speed scanner, driven by a patent-pending algorithm divides the treatment area into four quadrants, or “fractions”, and skips the beam from quadrant to quadrant so that each strike is separated by the longest possible interval. This process is repeated until the entire area is treated. Dividing energy this way allows maximum time for thermal cooling of the tissue, less pain for the patient and faster recovery! Compared to traditional resurfacing of the past this is a big step in technology for both the patient and the physician!
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT THAN OTHER LASER TREATMENTS?
The MiXto SX® delivers more results in a 30-minute treatment than competitors can accomplish in 3 treatments with less discomfort, downtime and cost.
DOES IT HURT?
For most patients we apply topical anesthetic and oral tylenol so they are able to drive themselves home. The discomfort is similar to bad sunburn.
WHAT ARE THE RISKS?
Erythema (redness of skin): the laser-treated areas have a distinctive redness representing increased blood flow due to the growth of the superficial tissue and collagen. It will gradually fade during the first few days. Inflammation (swelling): Treatment with the MiXto SX® System presents a minimal amount of swelling that can last up to 24 hours. Hyperpigmentation (tanning): This is presented after the third day of the procedure but then begins to shed and reveal younger healthy looking skin. A personal interview and clinical examination will be conducted to obtain relevant facts about your medical and dermatologic history, and any medications you are currently taking or have taken in the past. If you are prone to cold sores, you need to ask your doctor for an antiviral prescription before the treatment. Fractional Treatment with the MiXto SX® has been proven safe for the face, neck, chest and hands.
HOW LONG IS RECOVERY?
Most patients are ready to go back to work the next day, but it depends on the patient and their lifestyle. Typical downtime is 4-5 days.
WHAT IS RECOVERY LIKE?
The patient is red and can be swollen the next day. On the second, third and fourth day the patient is peeling and can experience a little itchiness typical to a sunburn.
WHEN DO YOU SEE THE RESULTS?
Right away! When we are doing the procedure you can immediately see the skin contract and shrink. The patient will really see the benefits by the time the skin is completely peeled and will continue to see results for up to six months with new collagen regeneration that “plumps” up the skin.
WHO IS THE BEST CANDIDATE FOR THIS PROCEDURE?
There are three separate groups the MiXto SX applies to; the younger patient with severe acne scars, the middle-aged patient with wrinkles and age spots and the older patient with wrinkles, age spots and pre-cancerous lesions.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
In most cases only one, but for deeper wrinkles and acne scars two or more treatments.
IS IT JUST FOR THE FACE OR CAN IT BE USED ON OTHER AREAS OF THE BODY?
It is most commonly used on the face but can be used on neck, chest, arms and hands.
IS THE TREATMENT EXPENSIVE?
The new technology has actually brought the price down, without compromising the results.
WHAT IS THE COST?
- $3000.00 for full-face including ocular shields to treat the upper and lower eye
$2550 for Platinum VIP Members
- $2500 for full-face
$2125 for Platinum VIP Members
- Price varies for other areas of treatment and will be given at time of consultation
